We are glad to announce our co-organization of the 8th edition of the International Conference on Emerging Technologies in Materials Engineering, EMERGE-MAT 2025, in partnership with the National Research and Development Institute for Nonferrous and Rare Metals (IMNR).

This hybrid event will take place on October 6-7, 2025, and is a must-attend for anyone involved in materials engineering. The conference provides a unique platform for students, scientists, engineers, and industry representatives to come together and discuss new methods, concepts, and groundbreaking materials.

Key Topics and Abstract Submissions

The conference program is structured around four critical areas:

  • Materials for Energy: Exploring new materials for energy capture, storage, and conversion, including metal-ion batteries and fuel cells.
  • Critical Materials: Focusing on sustainable solutions for critical raw materials, high-entropy materials, and advanced manufacturing techniques.
  • New Materials for Environmental Protection: Discussing materials for industrial wastewater treatment, CO₂ absorption, and new sensor technologies.
  • Modelling and Simulation of Materials: Delving into the latest advancements in multiscale and process modelling.

We invite you to contribute to the discussions! This is a great opportunity to showcase your work and engage with a global audience. We are now accepting submissions for both abstracts and posters related to the conference topics.

Important Dates

  • Abstract submission: 12 September 2025
  • Abstract feedback: 18 September 2025
  • Poster submission: 26 September 2025
  • Conference: 6-7 October 2025
  • Full papers (optional) may be submitted on a rolling basis to Manufacturing Review
