On April 29th, the ETP SMR hosted a successful “Pitching Event” focused on boosting international collaboration in Raw Materials Research & Innovation. The virtual event brought together around 40 participants from over 20 countries, creating a vital platform for networking and strategic partnerships with stakeholders from Partnership countries.
The event delivered on three key objectives: fostering International Partnership Development, exploring EU Funding Opportunities (like Horizon Europe, RM partnership), and strengthening Academia-Industry Synergy.
Attendees benefited from insightful opening presentations by Katarina Nilsson (Svemin – ETP SMR President), Daniel Cios (European Commission – DG GROW), and Tobias Kampmann (Vinnova). The program also featured engaging pitches from:
- Session 1: Adam Podgorski (GREEN14), Hanna Jaroszek (Łukasiewicz Research Network – Institute of Non-Ferrous Metals), and Thompho Jason Rashamuse (Mintek).
- Session 2: Prof. Holger Lieberwirth (TU Bergakademie Freiberg), Erik Svedlund (Epiroc), Mohammed TAheri (iTX-InnovX), Witold Kurylak (Łukasiewicz Research Network – Institute of Non-Ferrous Metals), and Christian Häggström (Orexplore).
The ETP SMR is thrilled with the dynamic connections and potential collaborations sparked during this event!
